Shrink Film
Shrink wrap, also shrink film, is a material made up of polymer plastic film. When heat is applied, it shrinks tightly over whatever it is covering. Heat can be applied with a handheld heat gun, or the product and film can pass through a heat tunnel on a conveyor.
Stretch Film
Stretch wrap or stretch film is a highly stretchable plastic film that is wrapped around items. The elastic recovery keeps the items tightly bound. In contrast, shrink wrap is applied loosely around an item and shrinks tightly with heat.
Preform PET
A preform is an intermediate product that is subsequently blown into a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) container. Preforms vary in neck finish, weight, colour and shape, and are specifically designed to meet the needs of customers in different market segments.
Pails
Pail or buckets are made out of high-density polyethylene. HDPE is a durable, non-reactive thermoplastic that resists impact and inhospitable climates during transit or storage.
Closures
A closure is a mechanical device which is screwed on and off of a “finish” on a container. Either continuous threads or lugs are used. It must be engineered to provide an effective seal (and barrier), to be compatible with the contents, to be easily opened by the consumer, often to be resealable.
Multi-Purpose Crates
Plastic crates are used for the storage of various goods and for shipping from one location to another. The goods are positioned in a crate, with or without cover, and set or stacked onto a pallet loaded onto a transportation vehicle such as a truck or train car and shipped to its destination. Plastic crates provide protection of shipped and stored goods from damage or breakage and simplify the handling of goods.
